The Royal Canadian Legion holds fund-raisers throughout the year. The money that we raise goes back into the community to various charities and youth organizations, such as local Heath Care Units, St. Paul, Myrnam and Elk Point Fire Departments, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides and The Sea Cadets to name but a few. Poppy fund donations go only to areas that will benefit veterans and their dependents, such as Fire Departments, Health Units and other Veteran Associations.
In 2008 over $19,900.00 was donated back into the communities of St. Paul, Elk Point, Myrnam and area from Bingo, Casino, Poppy and General funds.
